 My Job Aspirations

After looking at the initial launch of creative futures we were asked to think about our dream jobs and where we would love to be if we had no limits. From here we were to compile a list regarding these idea. For a long time i have personally thought of a job with a realistic mindset think more generalised however, after thinking more about dream positions i was able to think more specifically. 

My main job i would love to do would be to work for myself working freelance whilst signed for an illustration agency. I really like this idea as i could carry on my maker/seller business for extra income and be more in control of my hours and how i work. I defiantly like this idea however worry about the level of work and being able to find an agent which would be interested in myself. 

Another job i mentioned was working within design for mini Boden. Mini boden are a company i have grown up with throughout my life and feel their use of bright colours and patterns have influence my own current style. I have a strong interest in surface design and would love to create specifically for children as i feel this could suit my current working style. I feel it’ll be interesting to see ow this approachable and how this could be done. 

On my list i also discussed working as an image maker within a studio. I love the idea of working to client briefs and watching it develop towards the final outcome. I feel the idea of working in a tease specially at an early stage of career is a great option as would allow me to learn from others around me whilst build professional relationships. 

These were only a couple of ideas that i thought of during the first initial lecture, however I have a wide range of ideas which i feel will definitely be interesting to research further into to see how this could be achievable.
