Beginning my social media…
With my research coming together and ideas for my branding coming together, I decided to create some basic social media posts to begin my process of introducing the new brand. I decided to keep to th ecolour palette of the logo and carry on with the foliage. I felt it was a good idea to create a cliff hnager within the social media post, teasing on th ethe new account but not revealing too much. I hope by doing so it would create suspense for customers and drawing in.
Above shows this first post, i decided to experiment with posting at different times to see the engagement and how it will help grow my account. In this case i decided to post at 8pm, later at night as i guessed this would be a time for people to be sat on their phones scrolling. I also made sure to use a geotag of Staffordshire, therefore anyone looking under this tag would be able to see the post come up. I also decided to add some hashtags, this should help add it into more places to be discovered. A range of accounts follow different hashtags that they are interested in, this means the target audience are more likely to see the post and the account.
Overall, I think this was succsesful so far. it is sitting at 21 likes which i feel is a great enagemment for the lower number of followers. To help bump these numbers i also shared it on my main art based account so my followers would be able t trasnfer over.
