Prepping for print

After finalising the designs the next step was to prep them to print for mock-ups and photos. To do this I took the designs from pro create over to photoshop to make sure the size and colours are correct. The screenshots below show some of this process.

For example I wanted to make the invites A5, instead of A4 (as they were originally designed) This involved going into the image size and editing it down. IT was also important to check the resolution was at 300 so it was good quality. It is important to edit the images this way so the pixels aren't stretched or distorted. This makes for better printing.

After the size had been edited it was important to make sure the colours were as vivid as possible. First i made sure the setting were set to CMYK meaning it is in the best format for printing. I then decided to up both the brightness and saturation on all invites. I chose to do this as I know when printed on my printer colours come out duller and darker.

It is important for me to prep the images before printing to make sure they come out in the best way to be photographed.
